Agile Charging are developing battery-enabled Electric Vehicle (EV) charging technology.

The market for plug-in vehicles in the UK is growing rapidly, however, the number of EV chargers is lagging behind. The lack of on-site fast charging is one of the biggest barriers to EV adoption, and is often constrained by costly and slow grid upgrades. 

We designed, engineered and produced the flagship Agile Charging product, an off-grid capable 20kWh charging station with two 7kW fast charge connectors.

The final product is fully capable of supplying two vehicles with a Type 2 7kW AC fast charge simultaneously and recharging itself from a standard UK 3-pin plug. It is offgrid capable and certified to IP54, with integrated cooling to allow it to operate in all UK climate conditions.

The charge gun holster was designed based on inclusive design principles, accessible and ergonomic to the full spectrum of users.

Alongside the development of the product, we created a new brand identity for the organisation. 

The ‘A’ glyph is inspired by the free movement of electrons and long-exposure photography of vehicle lights at night.
