The (second hand) electric revolution.

evvn is on a mission to make the electric revolution fair and accessible to all by opening up the second-hand electric car market.

Underpinned by a tool for measuring and certifying the condition of the battery of any used electric car, evvn will provide much needed transparency and confidence to the rapidly growing number of consumers looking to go electric (but not necessarily looking for a brand new car).

We have worked with evvn throughout their journey so far, crafting them a compelling and accessible brand, before translating this into an engaging prototype platform and pitch deck assets. They have launched their first crowdfunding round, which we also supported them with by developing some compelling Seedrs materials.

Looking to the future and exploring new horizons for the mobility sector.

evvn’s visual identity is centred around new horizons. For many people, EV’s are unknown territory, and it can be daunting to know where to begin in the journey to switch. By using orange orbs as a rising sun creates a sense of newness, with the colour palette and use of gradients continuing the subtle sunrise narrative.

With the orange orb as a key visual device and distinguishing point, we chose to layer one within the logo itself, emphasising the friendly curves of the letter and making it more recognisable. The cut-out style also crafts a sense of looking through, which sits nicely with the futuristic narrative.

With so much new information, we took care to ensure that viewers wouldn’t get visually overwhelmed. Pairing the sunrise symbolism with clean and clear typography allows evvn’s identity to remain accessible and engaging.

When crafting the user journey, accessibility was key.

In their prototyped platform, a well-defined user journey and clear visuals were a huge priority. We continued the use of soft corners to keep everything consistent and feeling friendly, and made use of the recognisable colour palette and gradients to keep things consistent and professional.

We also created assets for evvn’s first crowdfunding campaign. Using stills of the platform prototype alongside mockups of the software in situ, we crafted a pack of images to engage and inspire potential investors with evvn’s story.
